John Wayne arrived to the American premiere on the short film Nine Lives Boulevard in the company of his new film partner. He has aged a bit, but is still good-looking. He has just completed the shooting of the film Marijuana , in which he plays a policeman from American Narcotic Department. The film has happy ending. He defeats dangerous criminals and encounters the right woman. John Wayne's partner is Nancy Olson from Sunset Boulevard, in which she gave a great performance as a script girl who irks a reclusive Hollywood diva.

I prefer cats to dogs because there are no police cats, a book character remarked (Ramon Diaz Eterovic Simeon: Los siete hios de Simenon). Based on this comment a painting of Parisian women wearing cat masks originated (a photograph published in teh Vienese edition od Der Stern in 1956). It was followed by a canvas which, apart from the masked young women, contained the above comment and opened up a path for a film The Small Kitten and the Lion.
